Payments include for registrations AED 50 any applicable festival pass
AED 250 for non pass holders
All participants require ID card when picking up the dorsal.
What is Jack and Jill ?
What is a Jack and Jill Competition?It's the ultimate dance challenge where partners are randomly paired on the spot, putting your adaptability and connection to the test. The chemistry, creativity, and musicality will determine the ultimate champions!
Competition Rules:

Random Pairing: Competitors are randomly paired up as "Jacks" and "Jill's" just before the competition begins.- it includes partner rotation.

Open Participation : Everyone is welcome to join! Pro level category are for dancers with teaching experience and over 2 years of dancing,

No Choreography: Participants must perform improvised bachata dance routines. Choreographed sequences are not allowed.

Musicality: Competitors must demonstrate musicality by dancing in sync with the rhythm, melody, and accents of the music.

Respectful: Conduct: Respectful behaviour towards partners and fellow competitors is mandatory. Any form of disrespect or misconduct may lead to disqualification.

Costumes: Participants are encouraged to wear appropriate social dance attire, but extravagant costumes that hinder movement are discouraged.

NO ACROBATICS: Acrobatic moves above the shoulders are prohibited.

The Attitude & Styling: Individual interpretation and self-expression on the dance floor.

The Technique: PRO LEVEL only - Quality of guidance/following, and cleanliness of the dance.
Format
There will be 2 rounds based on the number of participants . If we have more than 15 couples we will add an extra round.
